Installation of INVIS                                 Frequently Asked Questions

by stationary machines

Fitting of INVIS fasteners requires clean and accurately aligned drill holes (as for dowels)
in the 2 work pieces to be joined. Suitable are all stationary machines being employed for dowel hole drill holes.

The INVIS fasteners are screwed into the drill hole exactly perpendicular by means of the screw-in jig.       The INVIS studs are screwed into the drill hole exactly perpendicularly by means of the screw-in jig.

drill holes and fitting by hand

The centre drill jig assures an accurately perpendicularly drill bore.
Drilling depth for 8 & 12 mm  fasteners is 41 mm
The position of the joiner is transferred to the attaching piece with the dowel marker pin.   Use the inserting tool with the hand ratchet to insert the joiner through the mounting gauge.

Prepare the bore for the stud. Pre-select the drilling depth with the drill stop.   Drill hole depth
for 8mm system:     10mm
for 12mm system:   15mm

Position elements, place INVIS actuator parallel to joiner axes. Keep switch pressed until a clear knocking sound indicates tightening of the joiner.
